“Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.”
― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
Within six months of lockdown, our Hult Prize community members moved their energy to meet their goals. Via this article, we want to vehemently show you that human energy is restrained neither by place nor time. It is inside you, inside all of us!!!
Note that we would rather you would focus on the spirit between these lines more than the lines themselves.
How can we exploit our time in quarantine ?
1- Step out of our comfort zone:
There is no way not to mention how quarantine led two of our members to STEP_OUT of their comfort zone to pursue their dream. By holding on to the virtual world, one of them became the Director of Hult Prize in Tlemcen city and the other became an investor of money and crypto-currency in an international company.
2- Learn foreign languages:
Korean, Swedish, Albany, Turkish, and English. Thanks to the time COVID-19 gave us, we were fortunate enough to elevate our multilingualism skill to the next level.
3- Become a Craftsman/Artist: knitting, crochet, embroidery/painting, SFX makeup and infographics.
Under the tension of the corona pandemic, some of our members hit two birds with one stone. either through needlework or Letting their creative genius reflect itself into a blank canvas. Either way, they could be able to:
• destress themselves.
• develop artistic skills
4- Free gym:
Looking for alternatives is what quarantine did most. Not being able to hit the gym to workout is not a bad thing after all, as we could save time, energy and primarily money by following online fitness coaches and exercise at home.
Anywhere you look, there is a skill to be learned, energy to be channeled and knowledge to be gained. it is you who decides what you do with your time.
In a nutshell, the only locked-down people are those of a detrimental mentality. You are never in Quarantine with a prospered mind and free spirit!
We could not control COVID19, but we could create our better self!
